What a summer here on Cape Cod. I am so grateful for the many opportunities I had to share music and love with so many folks. It is in fact a SWEET SEPTEMBER. hoping to get into the studio soon, so stay tuned for some more recordings from me. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Wow. Another full moon in August has come and gone. I don’t know about you but this past weekend on Cape Cod was just perfect. Full Moon. Hot Sun. Cool air. Beach time. Live music. Family and Friends. As Mark Erelli writes in his song August, “A fool would ask for more” (ps. check out his new upcoming release Milltowns on Sept. 9)
This time last summer I can’t say I felt as good as I do now. In fact, I had just finished 30 days of antibiotics for Lyme Disease and was not feeling very inspired in general. Isn’t it amazing how our lives go through cycles. The longer I live and practice spiritual teachings I have received, the more I allow this to happen with ease and grace.

I will be opening the day on Saturday at 7am with a chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, among other chants and then signing again on the Main Stage at 5:00pm. I will also be at a healing table with Kristen O’toole offering the Prema Agni & Rising Star Energy Healings Systems. This energy was taught to us by Derek O’Neill, who will be in Boston on Nov. 9. This weekend, right in Aselton Park Hyannis yoga teachers from all over the Cape and New England will be offering their joy, wisdom, experience, and fun for you to play, frolic, explore, and awaken. What a gift to Cape Cod!! I remember just a couple years ago we were doing yoga on the Green and now here we are!! Thank you Love Live Local Ladies and Annika for birthing this dream I had imagined way back then. May All Beings in All the Worlds be Happy and may CAPE COD lead the way.

Happy Mothers Day to all – A little late. I was in Boston this past weekend participating in an Autism and Music Conference at Boston Conservatory. Along with the fabulous North End meal, the weekend was truly nourishing.
And now I am off to help my cousin perform her powerful play SICK.
I love May. I love this time of constant visible growth in nature and the absolute blooming of green green green and pink and yellow and all the colors. IT’s also nice this year that my inside experience matches the nature outside me, as I feel like I too am rebirthing and blooming again. This is not always this case. we don’t always feel in sync with the nature around is and that’s ok.
May 17 will mark the 7th year anniversary of my mom’s passing from this earth. 7 years. It feels like a blink of an eye and multiple lifetimes. And isn’t that how time feels these days? both compressed and expanded. It’s amazing if we are aware, open, empowered, and excited to serve ourselves and those around us, then we are able to flow with all that is. I am grateful for every moment of the last 7 years in which I experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I am grateful for it all. In deep gratitude and honoring of my mother, Ellen, myself, and our journey together, I am sharing this song and video I created while living in Egypt in 2010.
We are all mothers in our own way. THANK YOU for all you are and all you create. Happy FULL MOON tomorrow.

Happy May !!! I am writing this blog while flying on a plane. Isn’t it Amazing?
I am so filled with gratitude and love from the recent Yoga Reaches Out Yogathon. WOW! thanks to all who participated and took amazing pictures. here is one from Tamar Melen.
So what am I doing flying to Sacramento, CA??? Especially when the weather just got so perfect on Cape Cod. I will be leading a womens retreat with my good friend Andrea Spacek, as well as doing my first ever gig in Sacramento at The Coffee Garden on MONDAY MAY 6 at 8pm. And to get warmed up (in every way) I will join Ryan Bailey’s yoga class on Monday morning May 6 and to provide some live musical love at East Wind Yoga in Auburn, CA. What a gift to be oooommmmming coast to coast!

I am singing at the Cape Cod Chat House tonight and am splitting the bank with Yoga Reaches Out. After the recent events in Boston, I am so grateful to be gathering with the YOGA community of Boston and beyond to celebrate the power of LOVING ACTION. if you don’t know about the New England Yogathon yet. tune in baby. I will be singing at Gilette stadium on this Sunday while my friend and owner of Power Yoga of Cape Cod, Jill Abraham teaches yoga.
This is a dream come true and just one flower of many that has begun to bloom as a result of seeds I planted in early 2011. We are always planting seeds. in every moment. so choose wisely and don’t let the events that are happening around you shift your focus for too long. love love love.
I am also SO HAPPY to be at the First Encounter Coffeehouse this Saturday night as a a part of a Celebration of local women songwriters.
More seeds have sown another trip out to Northern California from May 1-8, where will be leading a womens retreat with my good friend Andrea Spacek, as well as doing my first ever gig in Sacramento at The Coffee Garden. A little over a week ago I had the pure pleasure of visiting Arizona and doing 2 shows. A house concert in Peoria and a chanting workshop at B Well Center in Scottsdale. Not only did the sun and 90 degree weather soothe my pale winter skin, but the community and opportunity to share my CD with folks that listened deeply was a balm to my soul. 
Thank you, thank you to all who made that possible and helped celebrate the one-year anniversary of 2012: ISn’t it Amazing? with such joy (and desert heat).

Last weekend I also had the privilege of sharing the stage at The Island Merchant in Hyannis with Allen McGarry and friends on the actual anniversary of the release – 3/22/13. I was a rock star for a moment and Fairy Queen never rocked so hard. WATCH a short clip here.

Yoga Reaches Out on April 28 with an intro show and yoga class with Jaqui Bonwell on April 5 at Spinning Lotus Studios in Wayland MA, June 20-23 at Wanderlust Festival in VT with Jill Abraham and a return to my local schedule at the Chat House in Dennis this Saturday March 30 7-9pm.
