Hello Friends!

IMG_0834It has been a while since I have visited this space and shared. I apologize. It has been an internal time for me and much is being created. I will be releasing a new Album in the spring of 2019 and I couldn’t be more excited to share the new songs and the new vibration with many many new people throughout the US and abroad.

In the meantime, I am returning to Cincinnati for a concert on 11/10 at my friend Vivienne Gerard’s home and I am so excited to see many of you in person. The amazing news is that Vivienne has created on online portal of light that all can tune into no matter location. I am holding a vibration within this portal and have already shared the chant Asato Ma to open the portal on 11/1 (yesterday). I will also be sharing a chant/musical vibration on 11/11 to close the portal. ANYONE and everyone can tune in by going to this PAGE and joining us in holding a powerful vibration of light for ourselves and all during these 11 days of November.IMG_9886

I am also singing and chanting locally here on Cape Cod for a private NEW MOON event  on Nov. 7 at a home in Osterville. If you would like more info, please email me.

Happy New Moon to all! It’s an incredible time to be alive. I hope you are taking time to be still, listen to your favorite music, take walks in the woods, rest, drink water and connect with like minded loving friends. 2018 will be all about love. It’s YOUR Choice whether you focus on love or focus on fear. CHOOSE LOVE. it’ really is the best way to go.

We are in the new moon cycle in late October. It’s a wonderful time for transformation and musical awakening. I can feel lots of new songs bubbling up and am looking forward to a lot more writing and hopefully a new record soon.

In the meantime, my record Isn’t it Amazing? that I released in March of 2012 has circled back into the consciousness and has helped create an amazing new opportunity and experience for me and all who want to join!

I will be doing a house concert in Cincinnati, Ohio on 11/11 in the home of Vivienne Gerard followed by a Crystal Core Activation. Connecting with Vivienne and her work through her new book One Day is Here has been mystical, magical and incredibly affirming of why I make music. My songs Breath in Breath Out and Sweet September are highlighted in her book along with tracks by Snatam Kaur and Imagine Dragons. pretty cool musical company if you ask me.

On Nov. 11, 2009, which I consider 11-11-11, I toned in the Great Pyramid at Giza and felt it as an initiation. This is a picture of what I saw when we exited the pyramid.

Now, 8 years later, the fullness of that experience will continue to evolve and expand. I hope you can join us for this most amazing event!

img_8334My wife and I are having our first open house since we got married and decided to do it on Halloween. Kind of a fun chance to get to use all that stuff you get at your wedding – like the giant punch bowl.

Keeping in the festive spirit, there are lots of opportunities coming up to celebrate together and in person through yoga classes and chanting concerts. Nov. 18, I am at Regina’s Connection in Hudson MA. On Dec. 2, Both Kristen and I will be at Grow You Healing Arts Center in Holliston, MA to chant and raise money for Ben Speaks, a cause close to both of our hearts.

On Wednesday Dec. 21, I hope you will join me for the 5 year celebration of Sounding Still Wellness at Power Yoga of Cape Cod Dennisport. It will include a yoga class with 4 teachers and live music by me. This event will also be raising money for both Cape Wellness Collabroative & SQ Foundation.

I know many feel the world is in a very difficult place, and though I agree there is division and suffering in our country and throughout the whole world right now, I still feel incredibly empowered to BE THE CHANGE and sing my song with all my heart. I hope you will join me!

On October 8 there is an event called #Chant4Change. If you can be there – BE THERE If you can Donate, Donate

Sweet Honey in the Rock will be there, which to me grounds the event in 50 years of social activism, antiracism, AMAZING MUSIC, and feminist thinking.

MC YOGI will be there which brings in the modern movement of yoga, music and getting “Off The Mat”

David Newman/Durga Das will be there, bringing in the powerful lineage of Krishna Das.

Tina Malia will be there, who just happens to be one of my all time favorite songwriters and performers.

This event feels like it was literally created for me – inviting me to marry my activist self with my spiritual self. What an opportunity! Thank you Universe. Thank you people who work on behalf of the universe.

Thank you to music, the never ending vibration that connects all, heals all, and awakens all.  JAI JAI MA!!

IMG_8071I have written many songs about the magic of September. Perhaps because my birthday is in August or I have been a perennial student, September often feels like the new year to me.

I wrote September Again when I was around 22, having just lived in Ptown for a while and was facing a sense of who am I without the structure of school?

I wrote Sweet September just after turning 40, returning to Cape Cod, and completing 40 days of chanting that led me to my current career of music and transformation.

This September, I don’t feel a song coming, but rather an epic musical. It’s kind of a scary feeling because I have written a musical before and I know what it takes to complete it and get it up on stage. Those fans of Love according to Luc may remember it from way back in 2004.

As the new multidimensional musical ruminates in my creative psyche I will be singing and touring often in the fall, winter, and spring, so stay tuned and keep listening.New Moon Yoga Workshop & Chanting

IMG_7850Wow. Summer certainly has been moving fast. I have so enjoyed singing and chanting with many of you this summer and it continues. new-moon-energetics-energy-medicine1There is nothing better than a Monday new moon. Mondays traditionally are when we get back to business, create our week, & set our intentions. On new moons, this is also what we are invited to do. It is an energy of creation and starting out fresh. Isn’t it wonderful that we get a new moon every month? A new opportunity to say, YES, I am worthy and I choose to create that which I desire.

Sometimes, we can find ourselves in a place though where we are not clear what we desire. For me, these can be some of the most difficult times. Even though I have learned over and over again that I am a part of nature and have cycles, sometimes when a cycle comes that feels slower, unclear or painful, I have a hard time trusting that this is just a part of my nature and not an indication that every choice I have made is wrong. When you are a creative artist in this world and choose to be bold and say I have a unique voice to share and I am worthy of making a living at it, on the days that you’re not so sure about that, your doubts can get very large. You can begin to look outside yourself and wonder why you didn’t make some more traditional and perhaps “safer” choices. At least I can.

Each times this happens, however, I return to what feels true to me and am reminded of a great quote from the Bhaghavad Gita, “It is better to do your duty and fail, then succeed at doing someone else’s duty”.

On this new moon, I recommit to what I feel my duty in this lifetime is and trust that not only am I worthy of great success, but that the journey of it each day and my continued belief in creativity and what I have to offer is success in itself.

Thank you for listening and reading and journeying with me on this little corner of our world. In honor of February and all the LOVE that tends to be floating around I wanted to share my track Gate Gate with you. It’s a great mantra of compassion and heart opening. When I recorded it last March, It gave me such joy and I offered the vibration up to all beings that we might continue to open our hearts and trust our true path.

May this new moon bring you Peace, Joy & Creativity.

bleeding heartsWhat a gorgeous day today on Cape Cod!!

In honor of this Mother’s Day weekend, I talk a little bit about my mom in this video and how she influenced me as a musician and an artist.  For those of you that don’t know she passed almost 8 years ago and much of my musical and spiritual journey has  been deeply connected to that experience.

I am so grateful for the gift of music and how it connects me to her and all Beings. Thank YOU for all who have shown their support on my kickstarter campaign. It means so much. There are only 9 days left. I know we can do this. Let’s have a big weekend! 1000 weekend

Have a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend and know that you are deeply loved by the Divine Mother, no matter what is going on in your life.

IMG_5580Ah. the leaves are falling. even though it’s strangely humid today, the air has been feeling cooler. It’s a time of going inside for me and a great time to write songs. You will be happy to know I am heading into the studio to do some recording and plan for a Spring new CD release. In the meantime, be sure to check me out at any of these upcoming events.
